One of my favorite places to eat is Sweet Tomatoes. They have a really good
salad bar and the other food is great too! If you're looking for meat, this isn't the place.
Find a location near you
You pick up a tray and plate on entry and go through the salad bar. At the end of the salad bar,
you get your glass, utensils, and pay.
Behind you, is the beverage station. After getting drink, go into the dining area to find a seat.
You can go up to the buffet area to get whatever other food you want. There usually have:
- Baked Potatoes w Fixings
- Soups, Chile, Stews
- Tacos and Fillings
- Three kinds of pasta
- Two or Three kinds of Foccacia Pizza
- Three or Four kinds of muffins/cornbread etc.
- Dessert Bar with fruit, pudding, and jello
- Four kinds of soft serve frozen yogurt or ice cream (Reg/LowFat/FatFree)
- In the evening there is usually some kind of cake or fruit cobbler
- Regular beverages are served & this is one of two places I know of that offers
caffeine free diet coke (too bad coke still makes it with aspartame)
- Oh Yeah, the other restaurant that offers it is Steak and Shake

LOW CARB ICED MOCHA by Big Train is great
I buy it in the large can. I am a Starbucks addict, but
I think this stuff tastes just a good as a Frappucino and you
don't have to leave the house. I make it with skim milk and it's
sweetened with Splenda, so it's healthy too.

Leftover Pasta For Sunday Brunch
Ingredients
-
I Can't Believe It's Not Butter (Or whatever butter/margarine you prefer)
-
Cold leftover pasta and sauce (meat in sauce is ok)
-
Eggs or Egg Substitute
-
Add ICBINB (butter/margarine) to large frying pan and allow to melt.
-
Add cold pasta to butter and stir until heated evenly.
-
When pasta is fully heated, add egg substitute or scrambled eggs to mixture and heat until eggs are fully cooked.
Serve with bread and grated cheese if desired. We make this with pasta in the sauce from the recipe
at top of page. If you enjoy a cheese with a strong taste, try grated Romano instead
of parmesan. Locatelli Romano has a stronger taste than regular Romano.
